Indian Maritime University is the sole body when it comes to imparting education related to the maritime sector. Over the years, nation was feeling a need of centralized university to cater all the latest needs and demands of workface. And hence IMU was born.  IMU conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) to take candidates for various courses.

IMU CET 2018 APPLICATION FORM

Diploma In Nautical Science - DNS(1 Year)		B.Sc Nautical Science (3 Years)
This is one year pre sea training. Eligibility :10+2/equivalent (PCM: 60%). Or B.Sc(PCM).,/ B.Sc (Electronics with Physics as individual subject in one of the years) Marks not less than 50%. Or B.E./B.Tech from IIT or college recognised by AICTE Marks not less than 50%. English : 50% In 10th Or 12th. Age : Min : 17Yrs - Max : 25Yrs IMU CET 2018 Mandatory to qualify. Must have Company Sponsorship. Must Appear for IMU CET 2016 & company sponsorship tests. College Or Institutions : Pan India Off shore Job after Completion this course.  Medically fit as per the standards prescribed by M.S.Medical Examination Rules 2000. (ii) Eye sight  6/6 in both eyes.		This is 3 years pre sea training. Eligibility :10+2/equivalent (PCM: 60%). English : 50% In 10th Or 12th. Age : Min : 17Yrs - Max : 25Yrs IMU CET 2018 Mandatory to qualify. Must have Company Sponsorship. College Or Institutions : Pan India Off shore Job after Completion this course.  Medically fit as per the standards prescribed by M.S.Medical Examination Rules 2000. (ii) Eye sight  6/6 in both eyes.

B.Tech Marine Engineering - 4 Years		B.Tech Naval Architecture & Ocean Engg.
This is 4 years pre sea training. Eligibility :10+2/equivalent (PCM: 60%). English : 50% In 10th Or 12th. Age : Min : 17Yrs - Max : 25Yrs IMU CET 2018 Mandatory to qualify. Must have Company Sponsorship. Must Appear for IMU CET 2016 & company sponsorship tests. College Or Institutions : Pan India Off shore Job after Completion this course. Medically fit as per the standards prescribed by M.S.Medical Examination Rules 2000. (ii) Eye sight up to 6/12 in both eyes or 6/9 in better eye, 6/18 in other eye.		This is 4 years pre sea training. Eligibility :10+2/equivalent (PCM: 60%). English : 50% In 10th Or 12th. Age : Min : 17Yrs - Max : 25Yrs IMU CET 2018 Mandatory to qualify. Shore Job after Completion this course. B.Sc Shipbuilding & Repair (3 Years)		Graduate Marine Engineering - GME (1 Year)
This is 3 years pre sea training. Eligibility :10+2/equivalent (PCM: 50%) English : 50% In 10th Or 12th. Age : Min : 17Yrs - Max : 25Yrs IMU CET 2018 Mandatory to qualify. Shore Job after Completion this course.  Medically fit as per the standards prescribed by M.S.Medical Examination Rules 2000.		This is one year pre sea training. Graduation in BE/B.TECH (Mechanical) Engineering,BE/B.TECH (Mechanical &  Automation Engineering),Naval Architecture with minimum marks of 55% aggregate in Degree. Age : Min : 17Yrs - Max : 28Yrs Must Appear for Company sponsorship/ Best Institutions Direct admission tests. College Or Institutions : Pan India Must have company sponsorship. No need to appear for IMU CET Exam Medically fit as per the standards prescribed by M.S.Medical Examination Rules 2000. (ii) Eye sight up to 6/12 in both eyes or 6/9 in better eye, 6/18 in other eye.
